Haley Family: Sneak Peek

a few favorites from last weekend's photo session:

megan marie myers

this is my friend megan. she is a fantastic artist. no, really, you should check her out: www.meganmariemyers.com.

we've been talking about getting together for some photos for a long time. whenever possible, i like to exploit my insanely gorgeous friends for their photographic possibilities. there are still a bunch of photos i have to go through from this shoot, but i'm impatient, so i'm posting these ones now.

renee, my awesome coworker, asked me to take some photos of her son, finn. their whole family is amazing. at the end of an hour or so, i was exhausted in the best possible way and inspired all the more to have a family of my own one day. renee, brian, and finn, may i come over to play more often?

reasons i love this week:
  • i got the cool photo gig i wanted.
  • my sister took me to the barcelona/sounders game (nevermind the fact that the sounders played pathetically).
  • it's no longer 104 degrees outside.
  • there was a delightful evening picnic (and bocci match) out at carkeek beach with ethan.
  • i found a rad, albeit decrepit, blue dresser on craigslist for $20.
  • i finished a project i've been desperately wanting to be rid of.
  • this weekend is twisp cabin weekend.

my coworker ashley and i have been wanting to take some photos of her daughter, olivia, for quite some time now. finally, this week our schedules aligned. i have so many photos i want to post, so i need to edit down. for now, i figured i'd post just this one.

have you ever seen hair like that in your life? insane.

one more shot from Kestrel

Kestrel Vintners

Last weekend I had the opportunity to do some photography for Kestrel, a wonderful winery in Prosser, WA. Getting up at 3am on a Saturday has its perks, it seems. It was a delightfully full and invigorating day, not to mention such a privilege to have this close-up tour of the many aspects of the wine-making process. I very much look forward to working with them again come harvest time.
